IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONSTRUKTIVISME TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATERI PERTIDAKSAMAAN RASIONAL DAN IRASIONAL KELAS X

Abstract


The aim of learning math at vocational school is student was required to
memorize and did not understand the concept so that learning math become less meaningful and did not form a true construction of math concept. The constructivism learning model is hoped to contribute to solve some of the problems. The aim of this research is to examine an constructivism learning model in order to improve vocational school student’s concept comprehension of light refraction and scientific generic skills. This research was carried out by using quasi experimental method and descriptive with rondomized pretestposttest control group design. The
students of class X at a Vocational School in MA Negeri 1 Semarang were chosen as the subject of this research. The average of N-gain of concept comprehension for experiment class is 0,15 while for control class is 0,23. Base of result hypothesis testing conclude that increase of concept comprehension and student’s generic skills of scientific with constructivism learning type more increases.
