ANALISIS KESULITAN BELAJAR SISWA X IPS SMA NEGERI 15 SEMARANG PADA MATERI PERTIDAKSAMAAN NILAI MUTLAK

Abstract


One of the goals of national education is to educate the nation's life. In carrying out this goal, a fun learning method is needed so that students do not find it difficult to solve mathematical problems. This study aims to provide an overview of students' learning difficulties on the material absolute value inequality and the factors that cause these difficulties. The research method used was a questionnaire and observation. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 15 Semarang. Data collection tools used in this study were questionnaire sheets for students. The results showed that students had difficulty in working on problems using the concept of absolute value inequality and difficulty in solving the algebraic structure of inequality in question. Factors causing difficulties include student interest and motivation to learn, student intelligence, and the quality of teacher teaching.
