PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS

Abstract


Teaching and learning activities in accordance with the curriculum 2013,
namely activities that are centered on students or student centers and
learning is not monotonous, therefore expected learners can play an active
role during the teaching and learning activities on mathematical subjects.
The research aims to determine if the model of cooperative learning is a
snowball throwing effect on the ability of mathematical representation. This
type of research is included in quantative descriptive studies. The bound
variables of the study are the result of mathematical representation ability,
while the free variable is a cooperative learning model of snowball throwing
type. The sample technique used is simple random sampling. The study
population is all students of class X one of the public schools in Semarang,
with students of grade X IPS 2 as samples. The instruments used in this study are obseravation sheets and written tests. The results of the observation sheet and written test tested normality then analyzed simple linear regression. The results showed the influence of model of cooperative
learning of the snowball throwing on the ability of mathematical
representation obtained (0.24) which means infrastructure and motivation to learn low impact on the outcomes of participants of 24% while the 76% is influenced by other factors.
