PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DEBATE TERHADAP BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA SMA NEGERI 11 SEMARANG MELALUI LSLC

Abstract


The development of the 21st century requires educators to prepare students for global economic competition by having special skills, one of which is the ability to think creatively. Achievement of the 21st century is done by improving the teaching profession, one of which is through lesson study for learning community (LSLC). The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of the application of the Debate learning model through LSLC on students' creative thinking abilities. This study uses a quasi experimental design method with the type of "Nonequivalent Control Group Design". The study was conducted at Semarang 11 Public High School in the 2018/2019 school year.
Based on the analysis of anacova test on the variable of creative thinking ability obtained sig = 0.00 This shows there is a significant difference in students' creative thinking abilities between the experimental and control classes due to different treatments. The experimental class obtained an average value higher than the control class. The average acquisition value of the experimental class is 76 while the control class is 68. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of Debate learning models through LSLC can improve the creative thinking abilities of students of SMA N 11 Semarang.
