TEKNIK SCAFFOLDING DENGAN TTS (TEKA – TEKI SILANG) MEMANFAATKAN ECLIPSECROSSWORD PADA REMEDIAL MATERI OPERASI BILANGAN BULAT
Abstract
One way to make learning effective is the use of scaffolding techniques. This scaffloding has helped students to understand a complicated material easier because there is more detailed information, including using games in learning. Scaffolding is defined as a process or product that makes it
possible to achieve learning goals, solve problems, or complete assignments that students will not be able to do privately without support from other people or other tools. The purpose of this study is to find out how many students have completed integer operation material and how to relate scaffolding techniques in an effort to overcome student learning difficulties in the remedial activity of integer operating material using a crossword puzzle game utilizing EclipseCrossword and how much the student completeness in remedial operation material integers. The research method used is applied and descriptive research. Analysis of the data used in this research is descriptive. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A of SMPN 2 Kalibawang who received a remission of 18 students.
Remedial results show that 15 students or equivalent to 83% complete the
material. Thus this TTS provides support to students who experience
learning difficulties because it provides choices for students in the form of
the availability of numbers (numbers) and the number of small boxes
available, so that it becomes more interesting and challenges students. This support becomes scaffolding when students experience remidial in learning mathematics.
