PENGEMBANGAN KOMIK DIGITAL BERBANTUAN QR CODE MATERI RATA - RATA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI MATEMATIKA
Abstract
Learning is a form of communication and interaction between students and
the learning environment. Teachers need to develop IT-based learning and mathematics literacy. One of the lessons is to use IT media is the use of QR Code-based digital comics. Mathematical literacy is a student activity that uses the ability to ask, identify, relate, interpret, and conclude a real
problem related to numerical, quantity, or spatial aspects. The development product that has been produced is a 11-page digital comic about average material and QR Code which can be accessed via email. Research used for the development of this product is development research, whereas to test the use of this media is to use development research. The purpose of this research is how to produce digital QR code-aided comic products that are appropriate for mathematics learning in improving mathematics literacy, find out whether there are significant differences between classes that use QR Code-assisted digital comics with classes that are not, and how much the average literacy ability is mathematics students who use these media with those who do not. The results showed that there were significant differences between the experimental class and the control class. The average literacy of group 1 (control) was 47.24% while the average literacy of group 2 (experimental) was 70%. Thus there is a difference in the average literacy ability of students in using media by 22.76%.
