DIGITALISASI PEMETAAN DENGAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS DAERAH ROB DAN TERDAMPAK ROB

Abstract

Tidal wave has become an unsolved problem in Pekalongan city, even more area are affected especially in the North subdistrict of Pekalongan.  The tidal waves caused by the decreasing of the ground level and the raise of the sealevel. Nevertheles the ground level at the north subdistrict of Pekalongan is extremely low. The current mapping of the tidal waves area is still using the static map.  The weakness of the static map is less sustained with the recent condition.  The strength of it is its simplicity making.  The recent problem in Pekalongan city is that there is no mapping of the tidal waves area and the tidal affected area that is social susceptibility which is not digital and can not be accessed online.  Such way in overcoming the problem is making the digital mapping of the tidal waves area and tidal affected area with website based.  With the digital mapping of the tidal waves area and the tidal waves affected community or those who need information can access it directly through the website. During this time the tidal waves area mapping can not be updated, with this digital mapping tidal waves area can be updated in accordance with the current situation.  This mapping can later be used as a study by the relevant parties in carrying out development planning in the tidal waves area and tidal waves affected.
