PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI E-MARKETPLACE SEBAGAI SOLUSI DIGITAL TERPADU YANG MEMPERTEMUKAN PETANI BERLAHAN SEMPIT DENGAN PEMBELI AKHIR
Abstract
Farmers who in this case are smallholder farmers who do not have venture
capital are forced to owe money to the middlemen in meeting their
agricultural production needs. This will cause an unfavorable relationship
between smallholder farmers and middlemen in selling their produce, also in determining the selling price of their production. Efforts that have been made by the government today are to improve various agricultural technologies in Indonesia to become more modern technologies. One solution in the IT field that will be applied to overcome this problem is the development of emarketplace applications that are able to shorten the trade chain by narrowing the space for middlemen, mafias and agricultural product hoarders. Preliminary data were obtained from observations and interviews with farmers in the Pekalongan district. The e-marketplace application process design uses UML (Unified Modeling Language), while the application interface design uses the LKT (Display Worksheet) tool. This application was built using web programming languages, in the form of php and html5. The database in this application was developed using MySQL software. In the testing phase both display and content with the GUI (Graphical User Interface) testing method. Testing the usefulness of this application is based on user responses obtained through the UAT (User Acceptance Test). The output of this research will produce an e-marketplace application that is expected to be able to bring farmers together with the final buyers, so farmers can offer their agricultural products competitively, and from the buyer side will get a relatively cheaper price.
