OBSERVASI POLA ALIRAN UDARA DAN DISTRIBUSI TEMPERATUR PADA RUANG TERKONDISI MENGGUNAKAN CFD
Abstract
Some spaces for certain activities require designs that must be made
specifically with certain conditions. But it often happens, the conditioned
rooms of the design are not in accordance with the standards. Inappropriate parameters include air flow distribution patterns and temperatures in the space. Disagreements can be caused, among others, the configuration of the room, the regulation of air flow and the placement of the air inlet and air outlet which is not quite right.
Before it is realized, the design of cleanroom requires to observe the
parameters that influenced of the air flow pattern and temperature
distribution. This observation can be done by simulating it using CFD
(Computational Fluid Dynamics) software by varying air debit that affect the air flow distribution pattern and temperature. Next, the simulation results compared to existing standards so that it is expected to get the desired results.
The variation of air debit show the air flow patterns and temperature
distribution has changed. A Small air debit result the air flow patterns and
temperature distribution is not uniform. A medium air debit show the air flow and the temperature distribution has uniform. Then a high air debit, the air flow patterns has not uniform, but the temperature distribution has more uniform.
In this simulation, the variations in air debit on the cleanroom affect the
temperature distribution. Air debit 125% and 100% in accordance with
standard terms and criteria from CPOB or cleanroom specifications.
