KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS UMBI-UMBIAN YANG BERPOTENSI SEBAGAI BAHAN PANGAN DI DESA NGESREPBALONG KABUPATEN KENDAL
Abstract
Indonesia is a country with the biggest biological variety ini the
world, many kinds of plants nearly can be found on every place on Indonesia especially kinds of tuner which can be a food substance. The purpose of this research is to know the variety of potentially tuber as food substance in Ngesrepbalong Kendal.
This research done in Ngesrepbalong Kendal on March 2019. The
sample took was using plot method, with making 10 plots of 2x2 m in every station. Ini every plots also done a research about the condition of the area including the temperature, the air moist, the light intensity, the land pH, the land moist, and the lag of the place. The data of spesies variety (H') was count with Shannon-Wienner index and important point index. From the result of the identification analysis food plant on Ngesrepbalong Kendal have found 10 spesies that were Dioscorea esculenta (gembili), Maranta arundinacea (garut), Manihot esculenta (ubi kayu), Xanthosoma sagittifolium (kimpul), Colocasia esculenta (talas), Amorphophallus companulatus (suweg), Canna edulis (ganyong), Dioscorea alata (uwi),
Dioscorea hispida (gadung) dan Ipomoe batatas (ubi jalar). The most found plant spesies was Xanthosoma sagittifolium, and the most little found was Dioscorea esculenta. From the grade analysis of variety of tuber spesies which potentially used as food substance was sufficient.
