Abstract


The framework of a motorcycle engine trainer is a more optimal teaching aids in teaching practice and theory about maintenance issues, and in this case the instructor is very helpful because it can implement theory and practice directly. Develop a learning process that is practical, systematic and measurable so that it can be well understood by students, both in the practice of the care system and in the practice of light driving. Competency Based Curriculum (KBK) and as well as KTSP, in the field of motorcycle
technologuy in the automotive major. In accordance with the KBK principle,
it is not necessary to avoid that the substance of the lesson cannot be separated from the reality of the world of motorcycle technology in Indonesia.
Descriptions have been made as simple as possible so that they are easy to understand. At the time of the design of this props frame design using the 2016 solidwork application. The engine trainer’s frame is compared to its performance when it receives loads from the engine’s support  and the motor frame with a 2016 solidwork simulation with a 250 N loads as an aid media for calculating voltage loads. With the results of strain (Strain) min of 2.40272e-010 and strain (Strain) max of 0.000220714, and then the results of stress (Stress) min of 75.3713 N/ m^2 and max stress (Stress) of 8.50136e+007 N/ m^2.
