PENERAPAN SOFTWARE GEOGEBRA PADA MATERI GRAFIK FUNGSI EKSPONEN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA

Abstract

Monotonous learning is a challenge for teachers to create interesting learning, one of which is with learning media that utilize Information and Communication Technology. One of the learning media that can be used is geogebra software. The purpose of this study is to examine the improvement of students' abilities in solving mathematical problems on the subject matter of the component function graph. The type of research used is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 36 students of class X SMA Negeri 9 Semarang in the 2020/2021 school year. The instrument used was a written test consisting of a pre test and post test. This research procedure consists of: 1) planning, 2) implementing the action, 3) observation and evaluation, and 4) reflection. The results
showed that the student's ability to solve mathematical problems, especially in the graphical material of the exponential function, increased by 25% from the initial average of 32.24 to 90.35.
