ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIK SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL TIPE HIGHER THINKING ORDER SKILL (HOTS) MATERI SPLTV
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how the student’s
problem-solving abilities in doing higher order thinking skill (HOTS) type math problems, especially in the material of Three Variable Linear Equation Systems. The Subjects in this study were students of class X in a high school in Semarang City. The instrument used consisted of a written test in the form of an essay question, from 4 problem solving indicators to 4 questions. This research method uses qualitative descriptive analysis with case studies, so that researchers can see the mistakes that students can make while working on questions. Data processing is calculated in the form of percentages to determine the extent to which the indicators of problem solving ability have been achieved. The result of
the data achievement indicator of understanding the problem is 78,57%, planning for completion is 78,57%, executing the plan is 93,65%, and checking the answers back is 56,35%.
