Analisis Pengembangan Potensi Desa Berbasis Indeks Membangun Desa (IDM) (Studi Kasus: Desa Ponggok, Kecamatan Palohharjo, Kabupaten Klaten)

Abstract

The authority of the village government includes development, empowerment and
public services. This authority then led the Ministry of Villages to issue a Village
Ministry Regulation (Permedesa) No. 5 2015 related to the Development of
Village Indicator (IDM) which is then used as a reference for each village. The
purpose of this study was to determine the potential of IDM-based villages in
Ponggok Village. The research method used was a qualitative method with a
descriptive approach using secondary data sources. Sources of research data
were in the form of articles, journals, and data related and relevant to the IDM
variables and indicators. The results of the study found that Ponggok Village has
been designated as a tourist village so that it affects the welfare of the
surrounding community which has increased. One of the reasons behind this is
the well-run management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) assets.
