Abstract

v>Based on the results of preliminary observations made at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang, several conditions were found in Biochemistry learning. Some of the findings include: (1) thereis a lot of biochemical material and very limited time available, (2) the teaching materialsused by teaching lecturers are only in the form of mandatory books, (3) learning is morefocused on the teacher center. The purpose of this study is to produce a Flipped Classroomlearning system design by applying the Project Based Learning model. In the development ofthe Project Based learning model, there are six stages that must be carried out by thedeveloper, namely: (a) Asking essential questions (Start With the Essential Question), (b)Designing a project plan (Design a Plan for the Project), (c) Preparing a Schedule (Create aSchedule), (d) Monitor students and project progress (Monitor the Students and the Progressof the Project), (e) Assess the Outcomes, (f) Evaluate the Experience. Validation results frommedia experts, material experts and learning design experts obtained valid data (≥ 80%), sothat the design of this learning system is feasible to be implemented in the Biochemistry course. Keywords: Media, Project Based Learning, Flipped Classroom, Biochemistry
