ANALYSIS OF STUDENT CREATIVITY AND PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY IN MSTR APPLICATIONS COURSE

Abstract


v>In the era of industrial 4.0, it should form the next generation must be capable ofdeveloping in the several aspect to deal with those future, by using education is oneway to prepare it. This study aims to analyze how the results of Mathematics, Science,Technology and Engineering (MSTR) Application course on creativity and problemsolving ability students on the food theme. The subjects in this study were The Studentsof Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education, Indonesia University of Educationwho had attended MSTR course in 1st and 2nd Semester of the 2019/2020 academic year.The sampling technique used cluster random sampling two stage. Data analyzed bydescriptive quantitative techniques through product assessments (LKM, reports, videos,etc.) and problem solving rubrics. The results showed that there was a relationshipbetween creativity and the problem – solving abilities of students after attending theMSTR Application lectures.Keywords: Creativity, Problem Solving Ability, MSTR Application Course
