PERBEDAAN KANDUNGAN PROTEIN DAN LAKTOSA PADA ASI DAN SUSU FORMULA (USIA 0-6 BULAN)

Abstract


According to the results, the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) Data shows the general rate of breastfeeding for babies less than six months reaching 52%. The mistake in marketing formula milk in Indonesia is that there are many different modes released by formula milk companies to sell their products, special formula milk for newborns at the age of 0-6 months. There are still many nursing mothers who think formula milk is better than breast milk (ASI). If the protein and lactose content in it, breast milk is far better than formula milk and safer for consumption. And also the content of breast milk in accordance with the needs of protein and lactose in infants. Based on these considerations, it intrigued researchers to separate protein and fat (ORIGINAL) from breast milk with cow milk branded "Z" aged 0-6 months. Determination of protein content is done using the Kjeldahl method, determination of lactose content using the method. The average level of breast milk protein is (12.83%) and formula milk "Z" is (1.39%). The average level of
lactose breast milk is (25.25%) and formula milk "Z" is (51.89%).
