Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan terhadap Pelaksanaan Cuci Tangan 6 Langkah 5 Momen Keluarga Pasien di Ruang Rawat Inap RS Roemani Semarang
Abstract
Background:Hand hygiene behavior is a major problem and the main cause of the occurrence of nosocomial infections and to prevent the breeding of germs microorganism that is by the way the correct handwashing i.e. in accordance with the six step hand hygiene and in accordance with five moments of hand hygiene.
Objective: The influence health education on hand hygiene activity 6 step 5 moments family of patient inpatient room of RS Roemani
Method:The design of this study is a quantitative study with quasi-experimental design; the approach used is pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group. The respondents of this study were patients’ family in the inpatient room. The sampling technique used was total sampling with a total of 40
Results:Found that before being given health education in the intervention and control group, the results obtained p-value 1,000> 0.05, which means that they behaved poorly while in hand hygiene behavior after being given health education in the intervention group. the results of p-value 0.000 <0.05 which means having good behavior, whereas in the control group get the results p-value 1,000> 0,05 which means having bad behavior
Conclusion: The analysis showed that there was an effect of health education on hand hygiene behavior 6 steps 5 moments in the patients’ families at Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital of Semarang.
