Deskripsi Program Premarital Screening Di Puskesmas Kota Semarang

Abstract

In the priority of world health it is very important to pay attention to the percentage of mortality and the number of reproductive morbidity in women. One of the priorities for world health is maternal mortality. And according to data from SUPAS 2015 AKI has decreased to 305 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births. Many government efforts have been carried out such as the EMAS Program, but the AKI is still not significantly down. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Semarang City has a lot of causes of 77% in the puerperium period, where the city of Semarang is ranked 2nd after the city of Brebes in terms of AKI. Whereas in the city of Semarang there are many health facilities and easy transportation to get to health services for preventive and promotive efforts. One preventive measure is to impose a premarital screening on prospective partners before carrying out their reproductive processes. So it needs to be reviewed again for the examination of premarital screening programs at the Semarang City Health Center. This study was conducted in the city of Semarang through the Semarang City Health Center as many as 37. And using quantitative methods and observations using a descriptive approach to find out the premarital screening program at the Semarang City Health Center. That showed 37 puskesmas had 2 types of premarital screening, namely comprehensive screening of 17 (45.95%) and partial screening 20 (54.05%). And the most is partial screening on premarital screening. The need for promotive and preventive efforts in the provision of health services provided to prospective brides or pre-parents in a comprehensive and effective manner for women, so as to reduce mortality and morbidity in both partners before marriage.
